POLICY ON THE USE AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA 

The present policy of use and protection is adopted by SYNETAIRISMOS IDIOKTITON ASYRMATOFORON TAXI PEIRAIOS – ATHINON – PROASTEION RADIO TAXI KOSMOS S.P.E.” with the distinctive title “RADIOTAXI KOSMOS S.P.E.”, located in Athens, 8, Athinon Avenue, No. 8, with commercial registry number 044574607000 (hereinafter referred to as “RT KOSMOS“).

RT KOSMOS in compliance with the requirements of General Regulation 679/2016/EU and Law 4624/2019 of the Hellenic Republic, concerning the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the relevant national legislation, organizes and updates its policy for the processing and protection of the data it processes.

For the purposes of this document, the term “Transaction Person” means the natural persons who call, visit the website “www.explorerides.com” or send an e-mail or communicate by telephone with the details indicated therein.

1. Data Controller
   • RT KOSMOS, is the Data Controller of the personal data of the public who deal with it, and in particular visitors to the website “www.explorerides.com” (hereinafter the “Website”), of which it is the administrator,

2. Categories, purpose and legal bases for processing
   • RT KOSMOS collects the personal data of visitors of the website directly from them, through the entries they make on the above website “www.explorerides.com”, under no circumstances, collects or processes personal data that have not been provided with the consent of the visitors/users.
   • RT KOSMOS collects the following categories of personal data of the visitors through the website:
     • Data resulting from the use of the website, such as the following technical characteristics: the website caches the domain name or IP address of your computer, the folder requested by the visitor (folder name and URL), the http response code, and the website from which you visited ours.
     • The full name, email address and telephone number, as well as any other category of personal data that the visitors choose to disclose when filling in the respective sections, in the route booking form or in the contact form on the website.
     • The email address and any other category of personal data that the Website visitors choose to disclose when sending emails to the email address infotaxi@18300.gr.
     • The details of electronic means of payment (such as debit/credit card details) to the extent that the Transaction Persons choose to disclose them when making a booking for a specified route.
     • any kind of personal data that the Customers choose to enter on the website in order to be served by RT KOSMOS.
   • RT KOSMOS processes the above categories of personal data in order to fulfil the following processing purposes, based on the following legal bases for processing:
     • RT KOSMOS processes the above categories of personal data collected from the website, exclusively for data security purposes, and in particular, to protect our Website against attacks.
     • RT KOSMOS processes the categories of personal data entered by the Customers in the booking form, which operates on the website, in order to plan the selected route and have it executed by its driver. The legal basis of the above processing is the execution of the contract, to which the customer of RT KOSMOS is a party.
     • RT KOSMOS processes the categories of personal data that the Data Subjects enter when they send an e-mail to the e-mail address infotaxi@18300.gr or to the contact form of the website, in order to answer the questions raised by the Data Subjects in their messages and to provide the relevant information material. The legal basis for the aforementioned processing is the consent of the visitors, which is provided through their sending a message to the addresses that RT KOSMOS uses to serve the communication needs of the website’s Interviewees.

3. Categories of recipients of personal data

RT KOSMOS may disclose the personal data of customers to the following recipients:

• Third parties (legal or natural persons), with which RT KOSMOS is contractually bound. In this regard, RT KOSMOS communicates to its contracting parties only those categories of personal data of customers that are necessary for the fulfilment of the scope of the contracts between them. In addition, RT KOSMOS undertakes to bind the third parties to the lawful processing of the personal data disclosed to them by adding a relevant clause to the contracts between them or by signing a relevant annex to the main contract.
• Payment service providers (e.g. banking institutions, electronic payment providers) with whom RT KOSMOS has a contractual relationship.
• Judicial or Administrative Authorities in the context of RT KOSMOS compliance with a judicial or administrative decision or a decision of an Independent Administrative Authority.
• Third parties (legal or natural persons) to whom RT KOSMOS is obliged to disclose personal data of the visitors of the website based on a provision of law, regulatory or individual administrative act, court decision or decision of an administrative body or authority.

4. Data transfer to a third country

RT KOSMOS does not transmit and does not intend to distribute personal data of the visitors of the website to third countries or international organizations.

5. Retention period of personal data
   • The personal data of customers are kept by RT KOSMOS only for the period required to fulfill the purpose of the processing.
   • RT KOSMOS may retain the data for a period longer than the minimum possible, only in cases where such retention is required by a legal provision or a judicial or administrative decision.
6. Personal Data Protection Measures and Guarantees
   • RT KOSMOS prevents unauthorized access to personal data, while all its staff members are bound by a confidentiality obligation to ensure the confidentiality of your personal data. Furthermore, RT KOSMOS takes appropriate and suitable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data processed.
   • RT KOSMOS does not disclose your data to third parties except in the context of its contractual relations with its partners and for the fulfilment of specific purposes. Furthermore, RT KOSMOS ensures that all partners, who knowingly receive personal data, comply with the relevant data protection legislation and receive, in turn, all the necessary guarantees for the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your data.
   • As an exception to the above, RT KOSMOS may disclose personal data to Judicial or Supervisory Authorities in the context of its compliance with its obligations imposed by law or for the exercise of its legal rights.
7. Rights
   • RT KOSMOS undertakes to facilitate the exercise of the rights granted by the General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679/EU) and national legislation, as applicable, to the Data Subjects as subjects of personal data. In particular, Transactees are entitled to request:
     • The withdrawal of the consent they have given to specific processing of personal data. In this regard, the Data Subjects are entitled to withdraw, at any time, their consent to the processing of personal data that they have notified to RT KOSMOS pursuant to clause. 1.
     • Receiving information about the type of processing of and access to their personal data.
     • The correction or updating of their personal data in case they are inaccurate or incomplete
     • The complete and definitive deletion of their personal data from the files of RT KOSMOS.
     • The restriction of the processing of their personal data
     • Receiving a copy of all or part of their personal data in a commonly used and machine-readable format
   • RT KOSMOS undertakes to satisfy, free of charge, the above requests of the data subjects without delay and, in any case, within a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the receipt of the request. The above time limit may be extended by sixty (60) calendar days if necessary, taking into account the complexity of the request and the number of requests pending before it. In this case, the — shall undertake to inform the data subject of the granting of the extension and the reasons for the delay within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of the request. Except as provided above, in the case of a request to obtain copies of the taped telephone calls — shall be entitled to require the data subject to pay an amount corresponding to the cost of making copies.
   • RT KOSMOS may refuse to comply with a data subject’s request only if it proves, by any reasonable means, that it is not in a position to verify the identity of the data subject or that the data are still necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were processed.
   • In the event that the data subjects’ requests are unfounded or excessive, in particular due to their repetitive nature, RT KOSMOS may impose a reasonable fee, taking into account the administrative costs of providing the information or communication or performing the requested action. RT KOSMOS may, alternatively, refuse to comply with the request.
   • Finally, it is noted that data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority in relation to any issue concerning the processing and protection of their personal data by RT KOSMOS. Data subjects shall submit a complaint to the aforementioned authority using one of the submission methods described on the Authority’s website.

9. Amendment of the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be amended in the future. Any change or addition to it will be posted on the website, so that the Transacting Persons are always informed about the terms of processing and protection of their personal data. No amendment to this policy will be implemented before it is posted on the website.

10. LANGUAGE

This Privacy Policy is written in the Greek language, and in the event of any discrepancy between the Greek language version and the English language version, the Greek language version shall prevail.
